CAC volunteers assist the agency in providing the highest quality of care to the children and families that we service throughout Collier County. Along with enthusiasm and compassion, each volunteer brings with them a specific skill set and desire to assist the community through helping abused children. Our Center strives to match each prospective volunteer with the task that most interests them. Some volunteer activities include, labeling/stamping of mass mailings, receptionist duties, babysitting for short periods of time and helping out at our fundraisers. We also encourage all volunteers to embrace opportunities that include participating on our gala or golf committees.
Working with severely physically, sexually, and emotionally abused children can be a rewarding and yet challenging experience. For our clients’ protection and to maintain their anonymity, the CAC conducts a rigorous screening process on all volunteers.
Your involvement will play a major role in affording our victims new and expanded services while furthering the mission of the Center, as clearly defined by its character, tradition, and quality of assistance.
